Direly underrated band IMO. He does overall a quite serious job on this album maybe more than ever.
Then there’s ”Left Out”, one of the more mid-tempo points on the album, but to set the final piece the way it does is masterful.
Portugal Written by Strawberry on I have to admit that I much more preferred the whispering vocals from their debut than these aggressive ones available here. And it was disappeared immediately!
This track demonstrates the abno innovative way presenting the brass section sounds, emulated from keyboards, that ddefinition the composition.

For fans of the softer Riverside definitiln might want to shift onto Mariusz Duda’s solo project Lunatic Soul which I liked more than this and highly recommend. They’ve made enough albums to prove their right to have their own face, their own manner, their own sound, and ADHD only upgrades elements of their music to some new level.
The keyboard is so sick! Under a new producer, recording in a new studio, the band upped the prominence of the keyboards and electronics while simultaneously getting heavier.

Ahah I must say that after so long, it’s still my favourite song on the record Written by BloodTears on After a few minutes of Dream-Theater influenced metal, various keyboards create a beautiful landscape of music which ends up building up into the heaviest passage of music, with dissonant high-pitched synthesizers, blastbeats, and heavy guitar riffs. In a society which continues to domoni at breathtaking speed, racing hivh world history in seven-league boots, mercilessly trampling down anything unable to keep pace with this ruthless goose step, Riverside have composed an album which is a perfect reflection of our times. By the way, I love this album.

The calm after the storm features a keyboard-only electronic passage full of vintage keyboards and sampling getting very dissonant at the end. Having said that, let’s begin with the review. The first three albums formed a trilogy, where I could tell that they were running out of ideas by the third.
Anno Domini High Definition really took me by surprise. The album was released in Poland on 15 June through Mystic Production and was released worldwide on 19 June through InsideOut. Lots of atmosphere with fragile vocals, it’s amazing. I will check out their rest of material, because it promises to be good. The album was a commercial success in the band’s home country of Poland where it reached the top of the official album chart. The song then becomes more complex, with a great spacey and calm mood, and with other heavy parts.
But whats hidden underneath that is layers upon layers of soundscapes washing over like the streaks of lights of the cover art, blurring the resolution in our Nex-Gen Hi-Rez Wonderland.
Indeed, “Anno Domini High Definition” has become one of my favorite albums of all time, and it never seizes to amaze me for the fact that it’s such a new and innovating album, and how it changed my riverside anno domini high definition despite being released only one year ago.
After two minutes Piotr accompanies and the song turns into a rock ballad, after this the mood within the song keeps changing but remains on the quiet side most of the time only getting a bit riverside anno domini high definition towards the end.
The second, with a very addictive bass intro in the beginning, is Driven to Destruction, which switches between heavy and light most of the time, combining heavy riffs with beautiful piano and melodic vocals.
The songwriting, with each song being completely different than all the others and unusual structure, is basically flawless. REM was solid enough, but seemed to many to be a bit of a retread of the previous two albums rather than the climax of a trilogy that it was intended to be.
First and foremost, a lot of the soft acoustic or spacey section is really scarce on this record. The crowd absolutely adore them and the band effortlessly perform one track after another with little explanation or riverside anno domini high definition whipping them into a frenzy.
